Future attorney and lifelong humanitarian with a wealth of experience in public policy and legal research. Currently a Legislative Associate at the office of Shri Sujeet Kumar, Hon'ble Member of Parliament (Rajya Sabha), Indian Parliament and Trainee Associate at Lex Mantra. Mr Alam has provided valuable support to the office of the Hon'ble Chairman of the Petition Committee. He has also contributed significantly by assisting Sr. Adv. Salman Khurshid in a prominent constitutional matter related to AMU Minority Affairs and SC/ST Reservation.
Mr. Alam’s expertise extends to working with the Additional Solicitor General of India on high-profile cases concerning the Prevention of Money Laundering Act (PMLA). His impressive portfolio includes collaboration with the Hon'ble Chief Justice of the Calcutta High Court and other notable judges, as well as involvement with the West Bengal State Legal Services Authority and the Delhi Child Rights Commission.
Avid Researcher with publications in varied areas of law and social issues. His papers as Medical Negligence: A Dilemma of Consent and Body Autonomy; Juvenile Justice in the Present Era; Violent Truth of Child Sexual Abuse; The Myth of Consent in Marriage etc. is published by various International and National Journals. Additionally, he has played a pivotal role in advocating for a directive from the Ministry to the UGC and AICTE on menstrual hygiene, reflected in the directive issued under reference number F.No.17-5/2023-U.5
